
![]() Working with digital images or photos, anyone knows that the size of an original image rarely matches the size needed for printing, web publishing or simply to be watched on the computer. Sometimes you may think to have your image sized with a proper dimension, but that's not always correct. Usually an image resampling is performed by your graphic editor or by your printer driver often resulting into a non-satisfactory result due to plain algorithm used for resampling. |

Conversely as you may think, a 2816x2120 pixels photo (6MP) is not big enough
to be printed in 4x6 inch (10,16x15,24 cm) format and a resample will be necessary. An important value that you must consider during the printing process is the PPI printer value.
