Review by YuM: Have you ever noticed that the way in which Windows desktop shortcuts behave is lamentably inconvenient?! There is no chance to have them well-organized, unless you move each icon explicitly to its place.
The DKS Icon Manager claims to change all that. I've been using it for only about 3 days, but can definitely say - it shall not be removed soon. ;)
I have organized my desktop icons once and then saved the layout with the DKS Icon Manager; I am no longer worried that Windows will mess it up.
Another indispensable feature - is the possibility to have separate icon sets for each computer user or workspace, the number of stored layouts is virtually unlimited!
My comfort costs much more than the DKS Icon Manager does, so they've already got... (5/5 - 3-Apr-2005)

Review by Dave: I tried to purchase version 1.5 but the customer service was absolutely terrible. They first denied I even ordered online after more than their promised 12 hour wait period max. Then after more than two days later, I still did not hear from them. Ultimately I had to cancel my order from waiting so long for service. I eventually got one from a hacker website instead.
