Have you ever been in a situation where you don't know what application can handle a file? Maybe because it's without any extensions, or it just doesn't make sense? This tool can help! TrID is a utility designed to identify file types from their binary signatures. While there are similar utilities with hard coded rules, TriID has no such rules. Instead, it is extensible and can be trained to recognize new formats fast and easy.

Simple tool to display an hex dump of the header (first 256 bytes) of a file. It's designed with the non skilled PC user in mind, to provide a quick and easy tool to aid in searching assistance in a forum about a certain file. It takes just a mouse click to copy in the clipboard all the results and infos (plus the necessary UBB code for correct formatting) to allow a quick paste on the text box of a new reply on a forum.

Simple tool that list all DLL referenced by an executable or a library file. The "bovine" is dued because of the not so refined analysis done on the file to be examined. BDLLScan simply search for all the strings that end with ".DLL"\00. A bit rough but generally quite effective, and very fast.
