WebM8 will remember all your usernames and passwords and fill your log on screens automatically. It will also allow you to fill other web forms by point and click and, unlike most password programs, it is completely browser independent.

Review by Malc: This is without doubt, the most flexible of the password managers. The site I sign on to most often is for my credit card. The logon screen asks for my username and password then for the answer to one of five possible security questions. All the other programs I tried, filled the first two fields but left me to type in the third one manually. This one solves the problem by letting me insert the command Stop Auto Fill after my password, but still enter all five answers. When I use it, it fills the first two fields and leaves me to click on the correct answer to whichever question was asked.

Review by Stan Voss: This is sound. Its simple, its bug free and it doesnt do annoying things like attach itself to my browser (which I really hate)
I tried several of these utilities and this was the first that was just a solid reliable piece of software and not some gimick.
Cons: The only possible downside is that it doesnt cater for an unlimited number of forms. It has a fixed maximum of 850 but thats more than enough for me. (5/5 - 10-Aug-2005)

Review by David Wheeler: This clipboard actually works and works well. I tried three others and they only worked if the clips were text or single pictures. Whenever I copied from a Word document and the clip contained text and pictures. They pasted back the text but only showed placeholder boxes where the pictures should have been. This clipboard was the only one that pasted back the entire clip.
I'd also like to say that, although I got it purely for saving document inserts, I have been very impressed by the myriad of other little things it does as a bonus. For example, every week, I have to copy documentation to a proof reader's folder and send her a list of the file names. Typing out the file names is a real pain. Review by Ross: I have tested other clipboard utilities. This has the edge, because when you copy vector images
they are stored as a vector images, and copied back exactly the same. Other clipboards I have tested alter the image and they copy them back as a bitmap. This is an excellent utility . (5/5 - 11-Aug-2005)

The Visual Basic Sendkeys sub has never been 100% reliable. With Windows Vista on the horizon, its days are numbered. If you don't believe us, download the Internet Explorer 7 beta and try Sendkeys with it. The only reliable way for VB programers to send keys in the future will be to use the Windows API, keybd_event function and that can mean a huge amount of re-coding.
Fortunately, M8 can provide a much easier solution.
