Nslookup.exe is a simple interface to the DNS system. It provides the most commonly required functionality of the unix nslookup command, i.e. translation between IP addresses and hostname (domain name). For example, the IP address of www.google.com is 216.239.33.101 (note, that's its IP address right now - it may have move elsewhere by the time you're reading this...)Likewise, the hostname associated with the IP address209.73.164.91 is 'altavista.com'...
